Tools Needed:
- Devsport Brackets w/ Hardware
- 1/16" Drill Bit
- 1/4" Drill Bit
Step 1:
Flip your quick release adapters upside down and put in the nuts into the slots as shown:
Step 2:
Install the Devsport bracket onto the adapter by flipping it upside down and hand threading all of the screws in a star pattern.
Step 3:
Using a 1/16" drill bit, drill through the 2 standoffs on the adapter thru the Devsport bracket. (You may have to remove the adapter first if you are getting close to the threads of the insert. If so, just use the smallest bit you have to create a pilot hole then finish drilling with the adapter off).
Step 4:
Repeat step 3, but instead for your splitter. This is to ensure that your splitter clears the fasteners that are used to mount the adapter to the splitter brackets. I used a 1/4" drill bit here (not pictured).
Step 5: Tighten adapter using supplied #6-32 hardware.
Step 6:
Remove screws from Devsport bracket. You are now ready to install your splitter without having to hole the top nuts with a wrench!
